Community Conversations Postponed

Concerns about impending snowfall have lead to the postponement of two upcoming Community Conversation meetings.

Jonathan Carvalho, Community Relations Manager for the New Bedford Public Schools, says the Thursday meeting at Keith Middle School and the February 23 Community Conversation at Normandin Middle School have been postponed.

Carvalho says the meetings will be scheduled for late March and that updates about the next meetings will be received by early March.

Community Conversations began Wednesday night at Roosevelt Middle School with a goal of getting parent and community input on how the school system can be improved.
