Democrat presidential nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden is in hiding again. After a tough day on Sunday with one campaign event, Biden is back in the basement until Thursday night's final presidential debate with President Trump in Nashville.

Let's not forget, Biden did have to answer tough questions from the press on Sunday about the flavor milkshake he ordered. Whew! That's enough to wear anyone out.

Every minute that Biden spends hidden away from public view, the voters grow more curious about the serious allegations of criminal wrongdoing involving the candidate and his son Hunter. Biden has refused to address the growing scandal and has lashed out at a reporter who dared to deviate from the milkshake line of questioning.

CBS News reporter Bo Erickson asked the candidate about a recent New York Post report suggesting Biden lied about his knowledge of his son's business dealings. Biden bit Erickson's head off. “I have no response, it’s another smear campaign," he said. "Right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.” And then back to the basement.

Biden plans to remain in the basement until debate time on Thursday night. What his plans are after that are unknown. I imagine, at some point, he is going to have to address the deepening crisis around him. Even his most ardent supporters are looking for words of assurance from Biden that he is not a crook.

Should Biden continue to ignore the scandal and demands for answers, he will surely lose the election that is now just two weeks away.

Come on out, Joe!
