The Coast Guard says it has rescued three people from the water after their boat overturned in Pamet Harbor in Truro.

The boat's owner, who was on land, called the Coast Guard to report he'd lent his 14-foot aluminum boat to three people and it had flipped over. One of the three aboard had contacted him for help. It happened around 3:15 p.m. Friday.

A Coast Guard rescue boat found two men in lifejackets and a woman clinging to an inflatable device in the water. The boat sank. No serious injuries were reported. (Associated Press)
