The pick is in.

After all the trade speculation and questions about what they would do with the third overall pick in the NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics have selected Duke forward Jayson Tatum.

In Tatum, the C's get arguably the draft's most polished scoring threat, who can help add another legitimate offensive threat next to Isaiah Thomas.

Tatum averaged 16.8 points, 7.3 assists and 2.1 assists in his one season at Duke, showing that he could score from all levels on the court.

There are rumblings of the C's being in "serious talks" with the Indiana Pacers, regarding a deal for Paul George, so Tatum's time in Boston might be short lived. We'll have to wait and see, but for now it's Tatum and his offensive abilities bringing a much needed scoring presence to the C's.
