Celtics Look To Score In NBA’s Draft Lottery

While the Boston Celtics will try to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals with a win on Monday night, they will look to advance in the planning of their future during Tuesday night's NBA Draft Lottery.

Thanks to the combination of the terrible play of the Brooklyn Nets this past season and Boston's fleecing of the Nets in the Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett deal a few years back, the C's enter the night with the best odds at landing the top overall pick in the 2017 draft.

If the C's get the top pick, they will have the opportunity to take whoever they deem to be the best player available from the 2017 rookie class. The pick will also likely put them one step closer to becoming a true regular threat in the East.
