Carver’s Edaville Family Theme Park Reveals New Ticket Pricing Model
Edaville Family Theme Park in Carver, which made headlines earlier this month with the announcement that it was no longer for sale, has released its ticket pricing for the upcoming 2022 holiday season – and it’s significantly more affordable than it was in years past for those who just want to come and see the millions of lights that illuminate the beloved park.
New operators Shervin Hawley and Brian Fanslau made the announcement when they took over the park that there would be a new ticket pricing structure in place for this year, and on Thursday officially released that information.
“To make the park more cost-effective for families and those who just want to view the Christmas Festival of Lights this year and enjoy the shopping and food, we have a new pricing model for the season,” the park posted to its official Facebook page.
General admission to the park for 2022 will be just $12 per person, with children ages four and under receiving free admission. Last year, Edaville charged $25-$30 per person for anyone two years old or older to enter the park.
There will also be upgraded tickets available as well. A $29 Silver Pass includes general admission and one train ride, while a $39 Gold Pass provides general admission, one train ride and amusement rides. There will be an additional $3 per ticket for Saturdays in December.
In addition, a Season Pass can also be purchased for $99 per person. The park will be open from November 10, 2022 through January 1, 2023.
The park previously stated that neither the Thomas Land nor the Dino Land sections of the park would be open this season.
Tickets will be available on the Edaville website, which is currently undergoing a redesign.
If you still have unused tickets that were purchased for the 2020 season when Edaville was not allowed to open under the Commonwealth’s COVID-19 reopening plan,
“Also, after much consideration, the new operators (Shervin and Brian) want to honor unused tickets purchased for the 2020 season,” Edaville posted. “Even if these were bought at a discount, we allow these in exchange for Gold Passes for this season only.”
“They must be redeemed by emailing 2020tickets@edaville.com before October 15, 2022. Please include your ticket information, as well as the dates you would like to visit in order of preference. Dates are subject to availability,” the park posted.
Edaville is also embracing its original “Edaville Railroad” name. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the park; Fanslau and colleague Hannah Miller put together the Edaville anniversary celebration that was held back in April.
The new website design features the 75th anniversary logo that refers to the park as Edaville Railroad, and Fanslau has indicated that he wants to see the park embrace its roots as it steams ahead to the future.
