Cardi’s Furniture Organizes Ukraine Relief Event

If you have been wanting to donate to the Ukrainians, but you're just not sure where or how to do it, this event could be the answer.

Cardi's Furniture has organized a supply drive to help the people of Ukraine with some basic human necessities.

"As the country of Ukraine is facing its darkest hour after the Russian invasion began on the morning of February 24, 2022, there are many military and civilian casualties, homes destroyed, and millions of people displaced and forced to flee. Those that have remained in Ukraine are facing difficulties unlike anything they have experienced with shortages of daily living necessities such as heat, food, water, clothing…"  The Cardi Brothers

Here are some of the items that Cardi's is asking people to donate:

• Clothing
• Underwear
• Socks
• Footwear
• Towels
• Blankets
• Sleeping bags
• Diapers
• Wet wipes
• Personal hygiene items
• First aid items
• Over the counter medicine
• Non-perishable food
• Paper plates
• Plastic Silverware
• Toilet paper
• Paper towels

The supply drive is happening this Saturday, March 12 at these three Cardi's Furniture locations:

2. Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses 1 Furniture Way, Swansea, MA 02777
3. Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses 999 Newport Ave (Rt. 1A), South Attleboro, MA 02703

All of the supplies will be boxed up in containers and sent directly to Lviv, Ukraine via Krakow, Poland to help those in need.

Cardi's is asking to make the shipping as easy as possible to please box and label the donated supplies with a list of contents.  Items should be new and in original packaging.
