Cape School Charging Students After Rowdy Behavior
A number of SouthCoast high school sports teams have Sandwich on their season schedule, and students traveling to the Cape Cod town to attend games might want to bring a few extra dollars.
The Sandwich Enterprise reports students attending games at Sandwich High School will now have to pay a $3 admission fee because of "rowdy behavior" by students at sporting events.
The school had allowed free admission for students for the past three years, but reinstated the fee as a result of "serious" issues, including swearing at and heckling players on opposing teams, as well as officials.
