BROCKTON (WBSM) — The man wanted for allegedly shooting and killing two teens in Brockton Saturday night has now been identified and was added to the state’s Most Wanted List.

According to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz, the suspect has been identified as Davinci Leonard, 22, of Brockton.

He is wanted on two counts of murder, as well as one count each of carrying a loaded firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.

Leonard has been added to the Massachusetts State Police Commonwealth Fusion Center’s Wanted List, as both state police and Brockton Police continue searching for him with a BOLO alert issued.

Brockton Police responded at about 7:04 p.m. Saturday, March 22 for a report of a shooting outside the Chipotle located at 500 Westgate Drive, part of the Westgate Mall complex. First responders arrived to find two victims, a male and a female, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The two victims were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where the male – identified as Tymari Albertson, 15 – was pronounced deceased.

The female victim – identified as Cevannah Alvarez, 18 – was then medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, Cruz said.

Cruz said that “an around-the-clock investigation” commenced “which included witness interviews, review of video surveillance footage, and an extensive canvass of the scene,” which led to an arrest warrant for Leonard.

He said that it appears there was an altercation in the parking lot of the Chipotle prior to the shooting between Leonard and Albertson.

Cruz said the investigation by Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police “remains active and ongoing.”
