A charming Christmas house in Bristol, Rhode Island is once again open to the public, spreading cheer and inviting all to experience the magic of the holiday season.

The Bristol Santa House is known for its inclusive environment, welcoming children and families into its immersive holiday experience.

The mission: to foster the magic of Christmas for adults and children with disabilities and their families.

Operated by volunteers, the Bristol Santa House is a treasured tradition for many locals.

The Vision

As you step inside the beautifully decorated home, you're surrounded by ornaments, trees, bells, poinsettias and so much more.

The time, dedication and love of the town and the helping hands that put it all together does not go unnoticed. According to the Santa House:

'The Santa House envisions a welcoming place where children of all abilities can experience the wonder of the holidays. We see a space for children with special needs and their families to make treasured memories, sharing wishes with Santa Claus regardless of any physical, mental, or financial challenges.'

When you visit the "Best of Rhode Island" winner, you can make a donation to help families in Rhode Island and Southern New England.

Giving Back

While there, donations can be made to benefit the organization that created the Bristol Santa House, the James D. Reilly Foundation.

The 501(c)(3) has helped countless families in a variety of ways including:

  • Medical expenses and equipment not covered by insurance
  • Critical bills such as rent, mortgage, and utilities

  • A grand holiday feast around a beautifully decorated table
  • The fulfillment of a Christmas or Holiday wish list
  • A special family get-away, trip, or vacation
  • A surprise military homecoming
  • A visit from Victorian carolers, a Barber Shop Quartet, or even Santa
