Braga Bridge Could Get Colorful Light Display

The Braga Bridge could soon undergo another facelift of sorts.

Fall River State Representative Carole Fiola says she'd like to see the bridge adorned with colorful LED lights, much like Boston's Zakim Bridge.

Speaking on WBSM's "Mid-Day Live", Fiola says she can't think of a downside to such a project.

Fiola has already reached out to a local light manufacturer about the project.

The mile-long bridge spans the Taunton River and $500,000 for the lights was included in the $12-billion dollar transportation bill approved last week in the House.
