With the news that Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will be officially announcing his retirement on Monday, after an 18-year NFL career and two Super Bowl titles, the stars have come out on social media to honor the superstar.Among the first people to acknowledge Manning, following ESPN's breaking story, was none other than his top rival over the past 18 years, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady went to Facebook, to honor the 5-time MVP one last time:

Congratulations Peyton, on an incredible career. You changed the game forever and made everyone around you better. It's been an honor.

After many meetings over the years, including five postseason battles, the two have established quite the rivalry. With that officially coming to an end, it's nice to see Brady, who is still on top of the game, pay homage to Manning, who put together a brilliant career in his own right.
