The owners of Boneheads Wing Bar in West Warwick, R.I., and Boneheads Unplugged in Fall River, are opening a new restaurant on Water Street in Fall River.

According to South Coast Today.com, the group of owners of Boneheads stated in a Facebook post that they plan to open this spring in the site that was once the Water Street Cafe.

Most recently, Tuscani Italian Restaurant and Boondocks nightclub occupied the space at 36 Water St. and 46 Water St. The owner of the building, Jeanne Padilla, said Tuscani Italian Restaurant closed about a month ago, and the Boondocks is now also officially closed.

About a year and a half ago, the owners of Boneheads Wing Bar opened its second location, Boneheads Unplugged, in Fall River on South Main Street. The South Main Street location, a takeout only operation without any tables, proved to be a challenge.

"Not having any tables has turned off some people who were hoping for the full Boneheads Wing Bar (West Warwick) experience. Fall River has missed out on some of our wildly popular items, such as our double-layered nachos, app samplers, and desserts - namely our unique cheesecakes. Not to mention our specialty drinks, beer towers, bowl drinks, and more," the group of owners stated in a post on the Boneheads Unplugged Facebook page.

The timetable of the new restaurant is still being determined, but the owners plan to keep the location open on South Main Street and transition to the new place in the spring.
