Bob Branco is a life-long New Bedford resident. He attended New Bedford Schools and UMass Dartmouth. He has held various jobs, called radio talk shows, and is interested in what's happening in his city.

Bob Branco is also blind.

Bob stopped by Townsquare Sunday this week and spoke with Jim Phillips about being blind, the challenges he faced in his life, and his desire to create more employment opportunities for the blind.

Bob is holding a workshop for employers, advocates and other interested parties on April 2, at the Downtown Public Library, 3rd-floor meeting room at 9 a.m. His goal is to convince employers that hiring the blind is good for business.
