Heritage Museums & Gardens announced a collaboration with Cody Wells back in June. Wells is a well-known custom LEGO artist and a few of his sculptures now call Heritage Museums & Gardens home as part of the “Bugs, Birds and Bricks” collection.

“Cody’s greatest joy comes from working with children. He works with schools, libraries, museums, and private clients nationwide, leading classes, giving talks, and inspiring the next generation of young minds. The motto of his company C3Brix is “Rebuild Your Childhood” encouraging adults to reminisce and children to use their imagination to think outside of the (Lego) box by building anything they can imagine and not be limited by the instruction books.”

Wells has created five custom brick installations comprising of 21 individual sculptures of insects and birds native to Cape Cod. “Placed within the grounds and gardens, these sculptures highlight the interconnected relationships between the plants and animals that we see at Heritage.”
