The New Bedford Bay Sox struggled offensively Friday night, dropping a 9-2 decision to the Plymouth Pilgrims in Plymouth.  Third baseman David McKinnon and center fielder Chris LaVorgna knocked in the only runs for New Bedford.

Bay Sox Manager Rick Miller sent lefty Tim Superko to the mound, and he allowed  seven hits and five walks in 3 2/3rds innings.

After being rained out Thursday night, the Bay Sox  will open their home schedule tonight at Paul Walsh Field, taking on the Ocean State Waves at 6:30.
