Ban Should Be Lifted on Gay Scout Leaders Too

Label me as a conservative, father and grandfather, supporter of Scouting and upset with the latest developments with the Boy Scouts.

Last Thursday, I was delighted to see that 60% of the National Council of Boy Scouts voted to allow openly gay boys to be accepted as Scouts! It's about time and long over due. But, gay adults will be barred from serving as Scout leaders! How insensible and in the dark!

From schools to church to all activities in life, gay adults are part of the collective body. But not with Scouting? Lift the ban on adult gay Scout leaders!
