
Baby Food Recall
A small piece of glass was found in a Beech-Nut Nutrition product. As a result, the company is participating in a voluntary recall for almost two thousand baby food products nationwide.
The recall was announced yesterday and involves "4-oz. glass jars of Stage 2 Beech-Nut Classics Sweet Potato & Chicken produced on Dec. 12, 2014." According to the USDA, one related oral injury has been reported so far.
"The recalled product contains the establishment number "P-68A" inside the USDA mark of inspection and includes product numbers "12395750815" through "12395750821."
If you have any questions or concerns, call the Beech-Nut Consumer Hotline at 866- 674-4446. A full refund or exchange is permitted to consumers who return the product to the place of purchase.
