NORTH ATTLEBORO (WBSM) — There were bulls on parade outside of the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro today, as eight bulls escaped from a rodeo on the mall property.

The North Attleboro Fire Department posted on Facebook Sunday afternoon at 1:26 p.m. that “eight bulls are currently loose from the rodeo” and that “community members should exercise extreme caution and not approach any bulls.”

Anyone who sees a bull is asked to call 911.

The rodeo was happening today in the mall’s south parking lot, which the mall Facebook page said would “celebrate Central American countries as they display traditional performances, bull riding competitions, kid friendly fun and more.”

Video footage captured by Maynor J Hernandez and shared with WBSM shows the bulls escaping and heading toward the road.

The Emerald Square Mall is located right off Route 1 and close to Interstate 295, so drivers in that area should be cautious until the bulls are captured.

It was the second bull escape in Bristol County in a little over a month, after a Raynham bull destined for the slaughterhouse escaped last month but was later shot and killed. That led to PETA taking out a billboard to "honor" the bull.
