Brett Favre isn't planning a comeback, but the retired quarterback believes he could still be a productive player in the NFL.

The now 45-year-old tells "Sports Illustrated" he can still make all the throws he made before, he just can't throw it as far.  Favre appears on the cover of "SI's" "Where Are They Now?" issue wearing his old number-four Green Bay Packers uniform.

The Packers will formally retire Favre's number when he's inducted into the team's Hall of Fame on July 18th.  The Packers will then add his number-four to the Lambeau Field Ring of Honor on Thanksgiving night against the Chicago Bears. (Metro Networks Inc.)
