Area Postal Carrier Harassed

WBSM has many regular listeners in Falmouth and when one contacted me about a bunch of belligerent wild turkeys who like following a postal carrier, I had to share it with you!

These turkeys are known for their antics, like disrupting traffic, posing for photos and even having their squabbles with each other on the sidewalk for all to see! But one local person finds no novelty or humor though.

A Falmouth postal carrier, who officials would not name, claims he gets molested by these large wild birds almost daily when he delivers to the South Street area of his route. He fends them off with a long stick.

I believe the turkey and deer population in Massachusetts is a result of the Bay States' strict hunting regulations. Some area are being overrun with wildlife.
