Newtown, CT School Locked Down After Threat

Update 12:50pm - NBC Connecticut reports that the Head O'Meadow school received threats. No students were at the school when the threat was received. All staff are safe and away from harm. The principal says that the school will be closed for today. NECN reports that a school in Newtown, Connecticut is under a precautionary lock down.

We have no details as to why the school is on lock down, but it's being reported that the police are investigating.
