Anchor on Russian News Channel Resigns Over Ukraine Mess During Live Broadcast [VIDEO]

Here's something you don't see every day.

Liz Wahl, an anchor with RT America -- a Russian-funded news channel -- quit on the air Wednesday, due to Russia's involvement in the escalating crisis in the Ukraine:

I cannot be a part of a network funded by the Russian government that whitewashes the actions of [Russian President Valdimir] Putin. I’m proud to be an American and believe in disseminating the truth. And that is why, after this broadcast, I am resigning."

Wahl's resignation came on the heels of her colleague, Abby Martin, making a live editorial, criticizing Russia's invasion of Crimea.
