Absentee ballots are now available for Lakeville's upcoming Annual Town Election.

Acting Town Clerk, Lillian M. Drane, announced on the town's website that the ballots for the April 6 election are available in her office.

Those who will not be in town between the hours of 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on April 6 can cast an absentee ballot.

Voters can go to the Town Clerk's office and vote over the counter between the hours of 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Mondays, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Absentee ballots can also be mailed after a written request is submitted. Direct relatives may also file a form to request a ballot for a family member.

Over the counter absentee voting will end at 5:00 p.m. on April 3.
