A Progress Report on the Team Noah Foundation [TOWNSQUARE SUNDAY]
The Team Noah Foundation continues to do great work in Greater New Bedford helping children and families.
You may know Team Noah by its work in 2017, constructing an all-accessible playground at Pope's Island, open to all children from every community. Since then the foundation has helped dozens of families in different ways, whether paying for ramps to help families with disabled children or purchasing specialized equipment for those in need.
The foundation's annual fundraising events continue to be very successful. This year's gala Wine Tasting and Auction, scheduled for March 6 at the United Fishermen's Club at 639 Orchard Street is already a sell-out, with 1,000 tickets sold.
Vincent Fernandes, Mike Henriques, and Edson Perreira stopped by Townsquare Sunday this week to offer a progress report on Team Noah, and its plans to help others in the future. The Interview can be heard here:
