You Won’t Believe Where The 2014 Olympic Torch Is

Before every Olympic Games there is a big ceremony in Greece where they light the torch and start carrying it to the host city.  The 2014 Olympic's are in Russia this year and the torch has already started on it's path to the games, however there is a little detour it is taking.  Astronauts loaded the torch onto a Soyuz Rocket and it's headed to the International Space Station along with astronauts from Russia, United States and Japan.  The torch will be on the Space Station for the weekend the flame will be extinguished for safety reasons and will be taken on the first spacewalk.  The torch did travel into space for the 1996 Games in Atlanta but it did not go on a space walk.  The torch will return to earth with three astronauts coming home from the space station
