Yarmouth Woman Found After Being Left In Car 8 Hours After Crash

A woman in Yarmouth was involved in a serious crash late Wednesday night, and wasn't discovered until early on Thursday morning.

The woman, whose name is name is not being released, crashed in the woods off Winslow Grey Road, according to WCVB.

According to a witness, she heard the crash around 11pm on Wednesday night. Crews did not get to the scene of the accident until 7am Thursday. That means that she spent nearly 8 hours in the freezing cold Cape Cod temperatures, with serious injury.

She has been flown to a Boston hospital.
