BOSTON (WBSM) — Massachusetts State Police are on a search for Dejan Belnavis, 27, and his connection with a double homicide in Worcester.

On March 3, the Worcester Police Department responded to a report of multiple gunshots in a residential area in the city. Police found two females, including a child, who were suffering from gunshot wounds inside a parked vehicle.

They have been identified as Chasity Nunez, 27, and her 11-year-old daughter Zella. Both victims were taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Police have previously arrested Karel Mangual, 28, of Worcester, as another suspect in the killings. He was charged with armed assault to murder. Police said they are still searching for Belnavis for charges including armed assault to murder, firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license.

Authorities describe Belnavis as armed and dangerous. A $5,000 reward has also been issued for his whereabouts.
