Two organizations are joining forces this month to share the magic of Downtown New Bedford. The William Street "Bow to Stern" Festival is happening Saturday, September 28, from 11 am to 5 pm. The festival is organized by Gallery X, the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, and several other groups. It will provide music, history, the arts and culture of Downtown, for the entire family. The festival will happen on William Street, from the intersection of William and Eighth Street to the Waterfront. Charles Hauck from Gallery X and Laura Orleans from the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center visit Townsquare Sunday this week to discuss their collaboration and some of the things you can do and see at the Festival!

Townsquare Sunday is a weekly public affairs program highlighting individuals and community groups that are working to improve the quality of life here on the Southcoast.  The program airs every Sunday morning at 6 am on 1420 WBSM. If you miss the broadcast, interviews can be accessed on wbsm.com, the WBSM App, the WBSM Facebook page, and on YouTube at WBSM-TV.
