White People Dating Billboard Sparking Controversy

A billboard for an Internet site, for only white people to date online, has been drawing attention in Utah.

According to Fox 13 News in Salt Lake City, Utah, the giant advertisement for the dating website, called WhereWhitePeopleMeet.com, has been turning heads and leaving many wondering why when they drive by the billboard on Utah’s Route 201.

Most residents are furious over the billboard stating that it encourages division and outdated thinking.

However, the information on the dating site is different, and the site states, "I am sure some of you are wondering about the concept and need for a dating website titled “Where White People Meet.Com”. Our answer to that would be why not? There are various dating websites that promote and cater to just about every origin, race, religion and lifestyle out there. So again, why not “Where White People Meet.Com”?

The site also states that anyone can join as long as you are above the age of 18, and it wants the dating forum to be as “simple and inexpensive with the ability to connect like minded people in a non discriminatory fashion.”

The site also states that “all men are created equal” and we believe that all people, no matter their race and religious beliefs, should go through life alone.
