As a recent college graduate, I am now familiar with the dread of student loans hanging over me like a dark cloud. I realize that it will take me quite some time to pay for the education that I received, but I know that it was worthwhile because I have the potential to make more money over the rest of my working life. A new study shows that between the ages of 22 and 64, my four-year degree could earn me about 1.2 million dollars more than someone with just a high school education. Anyone with an associate's degree could bring in 325,000 dollars more! I hope college students and high school seniors see these figures as that extra incentive to pursue their goals in higher education.
