Not that long ago, I posted a blog about revenge porn that's described as non-consensual online publication of sexual photos of a person specifically to humiliate or blackmail them. I questioned why Massachusetts didn't have a law criminalizing this activity!

Now, Colorado joins two dozen other states working to criminalize revenge porn. Good for the mile high state! So, when will Massachusetts get around to passing legislation making it a crime to post nude photos of a person simply to humiliate them or extort money from them?

Beacon Hill has only passed 5 percent of the bills presented since 2011. This is completely pathetic. I hope our lawmakers address this issue that's growing more and more! Like California, Massachusetts needs to get its act together and pass legislation criminalizing revenge porn, just like New Jersey did as well.
