Wes Welker is officially a Denver Bronco now, and it's going to be interesting to see the Patriots without Tom Brady's favorite wide receiver.

In his press conference with the Broncos on Thursday, Welker told the press that the hardest part of leaving New England was splitting up with Tom Brady, his friend.

Yeah, that was definitely probably the hardest part, leaving Tom. He's a great competitor, a great player, a great friend across the board. I wish the best to him.

Welker agreed to a two year deal with Denver worth $12 million. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots and Welker couldn't agree with a long term deal, and that's why he went with Denver. That pairs him with Peyton Manning, and an organization run by John Elway.
