America is angry. I mean really angry.

A new Pew Research poll indicates that seven out of 10 of us are angry about the state of the union. That anger transcends demographics, according to Pew.

The poll indicates that 78 percent of Democrats are angry and 63 percent of Republicans aren't too happy, either. I would have expected the numbers to be reversed on that one but so be it.

We are angry, young and old. Your age doesn't matter; Pew says two-thirds or more are angry about the state of things right across all ages groups.

Blacks are pissed. Whites are pissed. Even Hispanics are pissed but not to the degree that Blacks and Whites are. The survey says 72 percent of Blacks and Whites are angry. Hey, something we all agree on. Only 67 percent of Hispanics are mad, though. What the heck are they so happy about?

When it comes to the upcoming presidential election, 67 percent of those surveyed who said they are voting for the presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden “say their choice is more of a vote against” President Donald Trump, compared to 33 percent who “say it is more of a vote for Biden.” It doesn't bode well for Biden if more than two-thirds of his supporters are backing him simply because they hate his opponent.

People are angry. You can see it in their faces and in their actions. We're tired of being cooped up and we're tired of politicians. We're sick of the virus. We detest the media. We hate face masks. Restrictions on travel, closed fitting rooms, locked bathrooms, and plexiglass partitions make us want to scream. People who call us racist are annoying. Rioters are unnerving. And fireworks at two in the morning are going to make us go postal.

Yeah, we are angry and it didn't take a survey from Pew to tell us so. We knew it all ready! Damn!

When the heck is football going to start anyway? Geez.
