Watch David Ortiz Throw Epic Temper Tantrum in Red Sox Win

MLB

Big Papi got tossed in the Red Sox 7-3 win over Baltimore on Saturday night, after the umpire called a strike on an 3-0 count. Ortiz would end up going down on strikes, and he was not a big fan of the pitch that set him up for that.

If you watch the video (below) Ortiz was rattled after that called first strike. One of baseball’s main rules is that you don’t argue balls and strikes.

After going back to the dug out, Ortiz destroyed the dugout phone with his bat, and after that he was tossed. Both manager John Farrell and and teammate Dustin Pedroia tried to calm him down, but it was no use.
