Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate Elizabeth Warren shared her ideas for bettering the economy, both nationally and locally, during a stop Sunday afternoon in Westport.  Warren spoke before a crowd of about 300 people, saying she favored government investing in roads and bridges, eduction and health care to get people working again.  The candidate also lumped Republican Senator Scott Brown in with the G-O-P Presidential ticket, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, criticizing their plans for improving the economy.

Asked about proposed reductions in catch allocations facing Mass. fishermen, Warren said its time the federal government provide financial aid to fishermen.  Warren says fishermen have been left out of the decision-making process, and that's a violation of the federal law that governs commercial fishing.
