Wareham Tigers Seek National Title In Florida

The Wareham Tigers Jr. Midget football team is headed to the Pop Warner National Championship in Orlando, Florida.

There's only one problem: they need to raise about $50,000 to get there.  The fund-raising started after the team won the New England Regional Championship on Saturday.  Head Coach Chris Perry says the team has raised about $20,000 so far....

The team has to raise the money by Wednesday night in order to make the trip.  If you would like to help, log on to gofundme.com, and search for the Wareham Tigers page.

Perry says a Pop Warner team from Wareham qualified for the National Championships in the early 90's, but couldn't raise the money to make the trip.  Perry is determined that it won't happen again.
