Wareham Stabbing Suspect Now In Custody

A man wanted for a stabbing in Onset Center in Wareham over the weekend is now in custody.

Wareham Police Chief Kevin Walsh says 28 year old Peter Rezendes was picked up Wednesday in Barnstable.

He was arrested without incident and returned to Wareham for arraignment on a charge of assault with intent to murder, while armed.

The 39 year old male victim was taken by Med-Flight Sunday to a Boston-area hospital. He's now expected to make a full recovery.
