A Wareham man may not have learned his lesson after being arrested on his fifth OUI. Wareham Police were tipped off to an intoxicated driver on Cranberry Highway in East Wareham Tuesday night, and caught up with the alleged drunk driver, 48-year-old Michael Wurtzburger. Police determined Wurtzburger was indeed drunk and arrested him on his fifth OUI. Wurtzburger was held overnight and arraigned yesterday in Wareham District Court on charges of operating under the influence and driving withouth a license. Wareham and Dartmouth Police are two of about 130 communities in the state participating in the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign, a period where police patrols are stepped up to prevent drunk driving. The initiative runs through September 3rd.
