Wareham Drug Bust

Wareham Police arrested a 25 year old East Wareham man Tuesday night at the Rosewood Motel on the Cranberry Highway. Police noticed suspicious activity at the motel and on investigation, disovered that the occupant of a room, Michael Blaine, was trying to escape through a back door. They noticed he dropped an item as he left which police identified as a plastic baggie containing heroin. After obtaining a search warrant for the room, police found a large stash of a variety of drugs and paraphanalia used in drug distribution. He was charged with numerous drug violations which he faced in Wareham District Court.
