Walk on AIDS Passes 19 Year Mark

On Saturday, close to 100 local people turned out at Ft. Tabor Park to continue raising awareness of HIV/AIDS and to support our local direct client services.

Amidst the balloons released in memory of loved ones, the event brought together many of our local health services and groups, individual and team walkers and lots of compassion and care. I was honored to once again be a part of Team Michael.

The final leg of the fund raiser happens next Saturday, June 22 with a fabulous Team Michael Clam Boil. For a $25 donation, you'll feast on a full New England Clam Boil, Chowder, Stuffed Quahog, Live Band, DJ and Auction between 1-9 pm at the Portuguese American Social Club of South Dartmouth at 24 Columbus St. Buy tickets at the door!
