Voters in the state's redrawn 9th Congressional district are deciding whether to support Congressman William Keating or Bristol County District Attorney Samuel Sutter for the Democratic nomination. Two Republicans, Adam Shaprales and Christopher Sheldon are competing Tuesday for the right to run against the winning Democrat in November. The district runs from Fall River to Cape Cod, plus the Plymouth area.

Voting appeared light in precincts in Dartmouth and New Bedford earlier Tuesday. New Bedford Election Commission Chair Maria Tomasia is predicting a 22% voter turnout. The polls close at 8pm.
