A teacher at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School has been identified as one of the victims who was stabbed and killed at the Silver City Galleria Mall in Taunton Tuesday night.

The victim has been identified as 56-year-old George Heath who taught visual design at the school.

Heath's wife, Rosemary, posted a message on her Facebook page saying that he was stabbed while trying to stop the suspect, identified by the Bristol County District Attorney's Office as 28-year-old Arthur DaRosa of Taunton.

DaRosa was later shot and killed by an off-duty Plymouth County Sheriff's Deputy.

The other murdered victim has been identified as an 80-year-old woman.
