A founder of the Greater New Bedford Track Club and a veteran runner hopes for a festive mood Monday at the Boston Marathon.

Finnerty is hoping that runners in this year's Marathon send out a message of determination and resolve......

Finnerty says he believes runners and spectators this year will be much more guarded about the people and the objects around them.
