Unbelievable Catch From Cape Cod Canal
Justin Sprague, 29, vacationing in nearby Bourne, was out on a nice bike ride along the Cape Cod Canal. He noticed a lot of minnows breaking the surface of the water and decided to get his rod & reel and give it try. Only, what he landed still has folks in awe! He had his line in for about 15 minutes when wham, something big suddenly took his line on a 'Nantucket sleigh ride!' Sprague thought for sure it was a shark by the erratic directions the fish took the line.
After a good struggle, Sprague and folks on shore couldn't believe their eyes! A 6-foot Florida Marlin, and that's no fish tale!
