UMass Student To Receive Reward After Testifying Against Arsonist

Up to $5,000 will be awarded to a former UMass Dartmouth student on Monday. The money will be given to Devin Kauljac, a student at UMass Dartmouth in November of 2010, who witnessed the individual responsible for at least one of two bathroom fires on the campus. Kauljac provided testimony against Joseph Iancio, who has been convicted of arson. The arson watch reward is sponsored by the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association. Kauljac will receive the reward Monday at 11am at the State Police Barracks on Faunce Corner Road in Dartmouth.
