UMass Dartmouth Facing $15 Million Budget Deficit

Grossman offered a series of ideas on ways to save money, including an evaluation of all courses being offered. It was also suggested that there be a hiring freeze on the Dartmouth Campus, and that positions now vacant, be left that way or phased out. Grossman says she’ll review all the suggestions and put together a plan to address the budget deficit.
