Clearly a major defeat for the Obama Administration, Britain has opted out of getting involved in Syria, and now President Barak Obama is prepared for possibly staging a U.S. military attack on Syria without a strong ally.

White House spokesperson, Josh Earnest, said U.S. military power could attack Syria "to protect the national security interest in the United States of America."

Critics of attacking Syria are saying that if the president decided to use military force, he would become a "Bush III" in American history.

Do you support an American attack on Syria now that Britain has backed down?
