Two Found Dead In South End Apartment

New Bedford police are investigating after two dead bodies were found in a South End apartment.

Detective Sgt. Victor Mendes says that at around 11:30 p.m. Monday officers were sent to 75 Rodney St. Apt 2W, for a well-being check.

Upon arrival officers found a 63-year-old male and a 34-year-old female.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Foul play is not suspected at this time.

Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.

The victims names aren't being released at this time.
Massachusetts State Police and the Medical Examiner's office are also investigating.
