Over two dozen lawmakers on Capitol Hill want travelers from West Africa banned from the U.S. until the Ebola outbreak is under control.

Twenty-three House Republicans and three Democrats have sent a letter to President Obama that asks the State Department to impose a travel ban and restrict visas issued to people from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The letter also calls for a quarantine of anyone who arrives from the affected nations after being exposed to Ebola.

The CDC announced on Wednesday that it would begin enhanced Ebola screening at five major U.S. airports.  (Metro Networks Inc.)
